What is the clipping path?

A clipping path is a path or shape drawn in adobe photoshop software. It is also called a path, vector path, etc. It is actually a borderline of a subject. It describes the shape and edge of the subject. Usually, people create paths to apply other photoshop customization such a background removal/change, color change, image manipulation, etc. We offer a manually hand-drawn clipping path service with 100% satisfaction. Our clipping path experts draw paths on your image so that you can customize your image without the hassle of making a path.

Levels of clipping paths:

Each image is different from another image so the clipping path job varies from each other. Though there are no specific divisions of clipping paths, for your better understanding we have divided it into some divisions depends on job complexity levels.

  1. Basic Clipping Path Services
  2. Simple Clipping Path Services
  3. Medium Clipping Path Services
  4. Complex Clipping Path Services
  5. Multiple Clipping Path Services
  6. Super Complex Clipping Path Services

Basic Clipping Path Services

A basic clipping path is applied when the subject of the image is straight, rectangular, or round, with a few edges and there is no hole. It can be done very easily. For example, boxes, plates, wine bottles, football, etc.

Simple Clipping Path Services

When the image is a little bit harder than the basic clipping path, the subject has smooth edges, a very easy shape, no holes, or minimum holes, we call it a simple clipping path. For example, car, sofa, etc.

Medium Clipping Path Services

As named, this clipping path is for medium images. This job is not too easy like basic or simple clipping path but not very complex too. Most of the images are medium. Medium clipping path is applied when the subject of the image has medium types edges, a few holes. For example, motorcycle, watch, desktop, table, ceiling fan, etc.

Complex Clipping Path Services

When the shape of the image is too hards, when the product is too detailed and not very smooth and has a lot of holes, we call it a complex clipping path. A complex clipping path is very sensitive and needs an expert hand to do it properly. For example, jewelry chains, bicycles, gates of metal rods, etc.

Multiple Clipping Path Services

Multiple clipping path means that that image should be covered part by part separately. Suppose, you want to change the color of a car. You want to make it red to blue. Also, you want to make the wheel more black and you want to make the glass transparent to dark. Then you must path all the parts separately. This is called multipath or multiple clipping path.

Super Complex Clipping Path Services

Super complex clipping path is not too common. It is applied when the subject has too many edges and thousands of holes, we call it a super complex clipping path. For example, you want to path a shade tree that has thousands of leaves and the leaves did not cover the full area, there are lots of holes too.

Why do you need a clipping path service?

When you customize each part of an image differently, you need to mark or select each part separately. Otherwise, your customization will be applied to the whole image which you don’t want to do. For example, you are an e-commerce seller and you have many products on Amazon. Now you want to remove the background of your product images. So, first of all, you have to mark/select the area of the product, then remove the other side of the image which we call background. So, you need to draw a line/shape all around the image. This line is called path. Another example, you want to customize a car, change its color separately for each part, like you want to make the wheels darker or you want to make the body more bright. So if you customize the image without path/selection, the filter will affect the whole image. The whole image will be darkened. So, you need to path the wheels first and then you need to make it darker. You can apply colors using a brush but that won’t be accurate without a path.

When you should not use the clipping path?

A clipping path is a great way to make select all the parts of an image separately. But in some cases clipping path won’t give an accurate result as expected. A clipping path is applied when the subject of the image has a sharp shape that can be marked by hand. But when the subject is flurry or woolen, you can not use the clipping path here. In this case, you have to apply image masking instead of clipping path. Check our image masking service here.

How do our experts draw clipping paths in photoshop?

Clipping paths can be drawn in photoshop software in two ways. One is using the automatic magic tool and another is drawing paths manually by hand. The first one is too easy but this automatic tool can not provide the exact path. Somewhere it works fine and somewhere not. So this is not the recommended solution for your images.

The other one is hand-drawn paths which we provide. Our experts create clipping paths using the photoshop pen tool. They create the vector path with all smooth edges. They cut your picture pixel by pixel. They don’t even make a single mistake. Moreover, after their job is done, we check the image in 3 quality checking steps. Three of our quality checkers ensure the quality of every job before they are uploaded.

By the way, We believe in deeds, not just words. We are committed to providing the best quality clipping path and other image editing services.
